Pauls a tough fight for anyone. Too bad he's most likely going to have to become someones mando to make fights happen with the Top Champions of the divisions. IE Margo, Pavlik.

I wasn't even talking about Floyd. Is he the only boxer you know? This might surprise you, but he's not the only boxer with a domestic abuse case or an entourage of hanger-oners.

i got a lot of respect for P-Dub; win or lose he gives it his all, seems to be up for fighting anyone; he can take a good shot, throw a good shot, throws a lot of punches, doesn't use his awkwardness to his advantage (i.e becomes a boring fighter)

    How can you dislike him?

That **** drives me ****in insane!:desk

He knows how to fight tall and stay away for the boring win, but he prefers to actually scrap it out on the inside if he feels like he can't be hurt by the fighter he's facing. It's really by choice, but I personally don't like the ****.:-(

That style hurts him more than it helps him.

Paul Williams is really impressive, he stood the Margarito test. Any boxer that can go into the ring with Margo and win and not take too much damage is solid. I just watched the entire fight again, I mean... even after the 7th and 8th rounds where PW took quite of bit of damage, he came back and had a great round in the 9th, same thing happened in the 12th. I actually would really like to see Cotto vs Paul Williams, that fight would be interesting.

No you wouldn't. Petey would starch that fool in 6 Rounds tops. Cotto might be good at bodywork, but Paul would smother him like Margo. He has the same stamina and workrate as Margo. Difference though, he is quicker than Margo and would be able to catch Cotto on that

    ...:yep

If a washed-up, 143-lb, 5'8" Zab Judah can hurt him in the 1st few rounds, what do you think the Predator is gonna do?

Well I would favor PW by TKO victory, but still.... PW is not exactly hard to hit, and Cotto punches a lot faster and a lot more accurate than Quintana or Margarito.

I think there is no way in hell that this fight would be a bad fight... I want to see it for that , and because it would give my boy Paul Williams more recognition.

We can talk about Zab hurting Cotto, and Carlos beat PW all day, lets just admit both guys have flaws.

You're right... It would definitely be entertaining...

Close? I don't think so. Entertaining? Hell yeah.

And while Cotto is more accurate than Quintana, he is not Southpaw. If he tries to switch to Southpaw, PW will just back up about 80" away and go to work. And don't forget, PW will make him trade punches. And I like his chin much better than Cotto's.

    Yeah...

But Cotto has a distinct history of getting hurt in big fights.

Shane had that fool doing the Puerto Rican version of the Zab Chicken Dance....

And Paul has that stupid ****in winding aerobics Taebo **** he does with his arms that gets him timed every now and then...

PW can work on that bull**** (hopefully). There ain't no remedy for a glass jaw.

I like Paul Williams chin better than most.... I think he is on par with Margarito
