I think Shane has all the tools, but cannot deal with a relentless power puncher in Cotto for a full twelve. I think Shane will get the better exchanges and may even score an early KD, but eventually the pressure from Miguel will ware Shane down and the Puerto Rican fighter will clinch the latter portion of the fight to retain his WBA strap.

Mosley UD - too much ring smarts and great speed; i think alot of people are wrongly doubting his ability to still throw great power punches as well

Honestly as I can . . . it's a 50/50 fight where I can't chose a winner. A single power punch can change the outcome of this fight.

Cotto wears Shane down and sweeps the later rounds after a close start.

Gonna be a gruelling fight I think, Both are tough and both can punch but arent massive one punch ko artists. Both have that power that can grind you down, Cotto more for his concussive power and Shane more for his quickness and awkwardness.

Really if Shane doesnt have a whole lot left I think Cotto can stop him but if Mosley is ageing like fine wine and comes in pumped could be real close.

As Mosley himeslf said, cotto's style is better for him, he's used to guys who try to bully him, I think we'll see some big action in first 6 rounds, and then fight will turn to Mosley backing off to the ropes (becouse I doubt he can go all 12 toe to toe ) while still scoring big shots on Cotto's body and chin. UD for Mosley.
We might see one or few knockdowns but it wont be Mosley on the floor, I doubt Cotto can tag mosley harder than Forrest did in their first fight (and it was perfect upercut).

Should be a war... I'll put my scratch on Mosley by split decision or late stoppage...

I think it is a very close fight 50-50 or give the edge to Mosley, i think mosley is the favourite, but the downside is his age.
But i would say mosley would have to be the favourite imo.
    Should be a great fight.

    Bell rings.

Cotto and Mosley come to center ring.

    Exchange punches.

    Cotto goes down.

    He stays down.

    Round ends.

    Mosley wins.

Shane will start off fast winning the early rounds but Cotto will adjust to it in the mid rounds rockin Shane with some power punches and knocking him down, the relantless pressure from Cotto will overweam him,
Cotto by tko in the late rounds.

i think either way we could see a rematch after this one a very close fight and if i would have to pick Cotto close decision.

Shane has really developed his boxing skills in absence of his strength (the balco thing). He spends alot of time now moving away and picking his shots. Which really isn't the way to get Cotto imo. I think to get Cotto you have to press him and put some hurt on him, just like Torres and Abdulaev tried to do.

Cotto is a smart guy. He's all business in there and doesn't get rattled. Unlike alot of other opponents he won't lose his cool trying to find Mosely. At least that is my personal opinion. I also don't believe Mosely has the type of power that would be required to discourage Cotto, as we've seen Cotto continue to come forward, bomb after bomb from Torres.

The way I see this playing out is a very tactical matchup with Cotto finding the mark more often as the fight goes on. Mosely will do what he does, moving away and picking shots but he will find Cotto getting closer and closer every round. This won't be a thinking man versus a dumb brawler. Cotto thinks in there just as much. Mosely is gonna find that out come fight night.

    Cotto UD.

If Mosley can stick and move and keep Cotto from cutting off the ring I think he has a chance on winning a SD of UD. But if he chooses to engage and try to fight on the inside, it will prime picking for Cotto to land those famous body shots and win via late TKO.

I am really unsure as to who will win this but either way I think Cotto will have his hardest fight yet. I'm guessing early rounds to Mosley, with Cotto taking the later rounds with his body punching.

It isn't hard. Cotto as usual will show he can box a bit but ultimately he will be a brawler. He will methodically break Mosley down and by the championship rounds Mosley will face a rising tide he cannot contain. Same way Cotto faces every boxer. He plays a bit of a catch up and then puts them in a world of hurt.

Mosleys game will be to not allow Cotto to catch up - easier said than done.
