I see two possibilities in this fight. One is Cotto by SD/close UD and the other is Shane by convincing UD. Cotto will ofcourse go after Shane, try to back him up to the ropes and unleash some of the powerpunches, and he's obviously going to have Shane on the ropes at some point in the fight, hopefully for Shane it doesn't happend early, because Cotto feints better then anyone in boxing today, he would find the body some way.
Mosley is a boxer puncher with superb speed and ringsmarts, this is really going to be a classic fight.. Mosley have a perfect overhand right, a perfect short left hook that put Vargas on the canvas, his speed is next to unbelievable and he's more experienced than any of the guys out there today. Problem is, Shane will have to be on his back foot for most of the fight, he's going to have to move back and counter, potshot at Cotto all night long, ofcourse he can do this but he has to stay off the ropes, we saw Vargas getting uncomfortably close in their first encounter, now this is what we don't want to see happend against Cotto (IF We're Shane fans:yep).
Ofcourse Cotto is vulnerable when he's moving in, and if Shane can use his speed and power to tag Cotto coming in, he could get a quick knockout and upset the boxing world, but recently Cotto's chin has held up pretty good so I don't see it happening without a doubt. One thing is for sure, if Cotto stops Mosley, then I'm going to be fvcking surprised, because as I see it right now it only happends one out of 20-30 fights at best.
My money is on Shane by convincing victory, he is the only man out there that can put a beating on PBF.. so this is his destiny. :deal

Mosley has the stamina, chin, experience and strength to take anything cotto has all night, but can cotto take mosley's counter-punching and combinations all night.Nobody has ever broken down mosley and if u watch his fights u will see he get's stronger as the fight goe's on,if mosley could land punches on a great defensive fighter like collazo,Cotto's defense along with his bull rushing face first style will be his downfall.

Cotto wont break down mosley and i doubt he even wins a round,if a 37 year old urkal can give cotto problems, what in the hell do u think mosley can do,i like cotto, but right now he's not ready.

The time has come for new blood in the Welterweight, Middleweight and Super Middleweight Divisions. This fall, Mosley, Taylor and Calzaghe will fall, hard.

I think Cotto is gonna take it.

I think he's the younger guy coming up with more to prove and more fire.

There is going to be a lot of exchanges in this fight and probably a knockdown or two, but I'm going with Cotto.

I think Cotto will break Mosley down.

    Cotto by decision

He will have trouble early, but adjust, settle in, and start to really pressure and rip to the body. I think he will take the championship rounds to secure a decision in a great fight.

    This won't be close.

Shane will use his smart, boxing skills and what is left of his KO power to upset Cotto.

Either a TKO or UD for Shane. Cotto will be hardpressed to find his rhythm against the veteran.

It won't be as close as some people think it would. Shane will show his boxing skills, and no, he won't do a Judah here, he is mentally thougher than him, and he can certainly hurt Cotto.

There won't be any SD here. Either a TKO or UD. And I feel Mosley, even at this age, is still just better.

I believe Mosley will win a very tough fight.

This is a career defining fight for Cotto, if he wins he goes up a level in stardom but if he loses then it's my opinion he will never be and just top contender/name for a long time.

i'm kind of tired of hearing that "Cotto will break him down" bull****. maybe the likes of Judah, Quintana and Corley was broken down, but they're nothing compared to Sugar Man, mentally and physically. and Torres is pretty chinless.

    Mosley TKO11

The fight will be pretty easy for Cotto. Much easier than the Judah fight do to styles. A few things about Mosley, he doesnt take body punches well (ie. DLH fights and Forrest making him scream like a ***** in round 10). And, if the fight isnt going his way, he quits mentally. So it is best for Cotto to take the fight to Mosley early on.

Either way, Papa Jack will save his son from an ass whooping.
