Honestly, I do not think that Prime Mike Tyson would beat Wilder, Joshua, and Fury

boxing has evolved... literally everything has evolved in it!! from nutrition, to training techniques, even to the size of the athletes... it's like comparing a lamborghini countach from 1984 to a new Lamborghini Aventador. obviously the new Aventador beats it in every category. same with boxers.

Prime Tyson is much too violent, quick, and powerful for these one handed power punch fighters. They get sparked out and dont remember what happened the next day.

Tyson is perhaps the greatest and most brutal of them all...

I also think Mike Tyson at his peak would struggle with Szpilka, an older version of Takam and Steve Cunningham.

    Complete and total myth.

Tysons style had a limited shelf life, once people figured out how to counteract his style Tyson was finished as a top heavyweight.

He could only fight one way with zero adaptability.

He wasn't past his prime at 23, he's been worked out.

    There's a difference

One great way to illustrate YDKSAB is to claim Tyson as some killer against the ATGs. You'll notice the Tyson fanboys here sidestep the question about his level of opposition. Attempting to turn Frank Bruno into a killer is hilarious; he's so stiff he makes Anthony Joshua look like Michael Jackson.

You see people claiming his prime lasted for three short years: 86-88. First, he never defeated anyone of consequence during those years. Second, what kind of ATG has a three-year period of viability? The excuses rain forth and Kevin Rooney is regarded as the best trainer of all-time, because Tyson's obvious shortcomings get excused due to his departure from Rooney. As though discipline and dedication are not part of being a great athlete.

Joshua, Fury and Wilder already have superior wins to anyone on Tyson's resume.

By adding wilder to your list you disqualified your argument.

I would argue that life beat tyson. At his prime I would bet the house against any of those big robots you have listed. hell i would pick james toney to beat those skill challenged guys.

What's a better Tyson win in 86-88 than Ortiz? And whom did James Toney ever defeat at HW to suggest he was worth anything?

Tyson beats all 3. The Fury of the Wlad fight would pose some issues. Wilder doesn’t see round 3. That I’m certain

You are the kind of person who comes up with an opinion and never actually looks at the facts. If you knew Tyson’s career, saw his fights, knew something about boxing, and read his book, you would not be saying any of this. But that would involve some effort on your part. So obviously that’s not going to happen.

Tyson's prime was from 86-91, which during this period Tyson fought 27 times and only lost once. During his prime Tyson had more fights than Joshua and Fury had in their entire careers. Tyson beat 6 top 10 fighters during that time not counting Michael Spinks, who I don't give Tyson credit for anyway.

Tyson had 6 wins over a top 10 heavyweight from 86-91. - During this Time Tyson also managed to become Undisputed champ. Defended his Undisputed Title six times.

    Notable wins,
Tony Tucker - IBF Champ. Coming off a knockout win over Buster Douglas, who would go on to dethrone Tyson.
James Smith - WBA Champ. Coming off a knockout win over Whiterspoon.
Berbick - WBC Champ. Coming off win over Pinklon Thomas.
Frank Bruno - Future WBC Champ.
Razzor Ruddock x2 - Top 10 ranked fighter that had power.

Fury has 1 win over a top 10 heavyweight in 26 fights. - Beat the Unified Champ, who was old and shot. Didn't even defend his title once.

Wlad - Unified Champ, but was 39 years old an coming off a very poor performance against Jennings.
Chisora x2 - Tough contender that can punch, but has awful conditioning and has very slow hands and feet.
Cunningham - Former cruiserweight Champ that was 36 years old and past prime.
Hammer - A scrub that got destroyed by Wach.

Joshua has 2 wins over a top 10 heavyweight in 21 fights. Defended his unified title once.

    Notable Wins
Wlad - A former 41 year old unified champ coming off a lopsided loss and over a year of inactivity.
Parker - WBO Champ. A mediocre champ that barely won his title and struggled to defend it twice.
Takam - Never was and never will be a top 10 fighter.
Martin - IBF champ that wasn't even ranked in the top 10.

Wilder has 2 wins over a top 10 heavyweight in 40 fights. - Has defended his title seven times.

    Notable wins
Stiverne - WBC Champ that was a good counterpuncher with power, but also a lazy and overweight fighter.
Ortiz - Top 10 fighter and an excellent southpaw with power. However, he was also inactive and almost 40 at the time as well as being tailor-made for Wilder.
Duhaupas - Durable fighter with power, but has very poor defense, speed, and stamina.
Szpilka - Good southpaw with fast hands and feet, but has a poor chin and has sloppy footwork.

Fury, Joshua, and Wider aren't anywhere close to having a win better than any of Tyson's. Tyson consistently beat much better competition.

Mate I watched Tysons entire career as it happened. There were flaws in his style from early on and they gradually started getting exposed more until Douglas tore them wide.

Tyson is like the only fighter ever in history that gets this mythical "prime" which apparently ended just as he started losing.

Tyson wasn't that great, his resume proves it despite all the fantasy passes he gets.

everyone surely starts losing outside their prime more often so surely you mean everyone "gets that pass."

I hardly ever agree with Rhinoz but he's dead right here.

Wilder is dead goddamn easy to land on and almost always starts slow. Yeah, he'd going to take 4 rounds of Tyson's power punches until he lands his windmills? No fuggin way.

Fury has really only one top shelf win and that's mentally shot old Klitschko. Yeah, Mike Tyson's going to hesitate and throw 7 punches a round because Fury "feinted". LOL, no.

Ortiz I think has some talent but he's not really shown me anything to prove he is even 50/50 with a prime Tyson. Yeah he's got power and he boxes OK - which is why he nearly destroyed Wilder - but he's also like 100 years old with hamster lungs.

Joshua is the most impressive to me thus far but to be honest he doesn't really have any one attribute except for sheer strength that stands out to me. He's a good solid all rounder that's professional in hs approach, and in today's woeful division its taken him far. Let's see what his resume looks like after he's had another 10 fights. I also fancy a prime Tyson against him because Mike was more explosive and accurate than him.
