For me, I'm going with Margarito in this fight. I think Manny has gone up a weight division too far this time. He will pressure Manny like he hasn't been pressured since the second Marquez fight. I think Margarito will end it in the 9th round.

Tony might get some good shots in but even with the power I think pac will be to quick for him. Tony is too slow and is made to take hits. I see Pac winning

People are way too nostalgic about pacquiao's power based on the cotto/hatton fights.

Margarito is a different animal, physically AND mentally, than cotto or hatton. On Margarito's worst night, he took dozens of clean power punches from mosley (a much better power puncher at 147+ than manny) and couldnt be stopped until the corner stopped it. I expect this to be Margarito's best night we've seen him, and it will help him absorb pacquiao's punches even better.

I think the most likely scenario is pacquiao overwhelms margarito with speed early, takes breaks and trades with him in some rounds as the fight goes on, making it a pretty entertaining fight, but mannys boxing ability, heart, and conditioning take enough to rounds to win 8 rounds or 9 rounds.

    I wouldn'tbe suprised by a KO in 6 - 8 rounds.

Who really though Pac would take out Hatton the way he did? Pac's speed and power combination can get an opponent frustrated very quickly and then they throw desparate shots, like Hatton did and are open for well placed punches. Besides, Margarito has taken so much punishment against Cotto and Mosley and in previous fights, I wonder how much of his amazing ability to take punishment is used up.

Did the TS not make a thread about how Antonio Margarito was going to demolish Manny Pacquiao?

In the boxing news magazine i get, teddy atlas has gone with the margarito stoppage, saying, if clottey through 10 punches the whole fight 6 of them landed and 4 of them were uppercuts, he then went on to say marg has a good uppercut! Any substance here or does he hate roach or something?

Anyway, the only reason why Pacquiao isn't looking great these days is because his team told us so. Tickets needs to be sold.
