Honestly Pacquiao needs to stay on top of his game

At first I thought waiting a year would be much more disadvantageous to Pac despite being the younger of the two by a year, because his style requires much more athleticism; and waiting won't help the reflexes.

However if floyd keeps on his vacation and keeps drinking his grey goose and patron  the discrepancy might taper off.

Losing the urge is one of the worst things that can ever happen to a fighter IMO..

Really hope the fight still happens, but the hype has died down a shitload- it should have been made right after cotto when Pac just got done making a lot of noise.

Honestly I think this is Pac's best chance to get an edge on Floyd while he's busy chillin/partying

Yes, Pacquiao has a lot going for him right now, and boxing taking second place in the coming months would not be surprising with his full schedule.

I hope he fights another one or two fights then calls it a career, a truly great career.

That too, boxing was his "work" before, now that he has other work involved in his life, it's an anomaly that can screw with his priorities, leave him drained mentally, and ultimately sap his desire.

Id hate to see him lose the urge as well

The publicity shots for his upcoming 'fight' surfaced a day or so ago, including a topless one. They were all over ESB yesterday. The dude looks pretty doughy.

Being elite seems to only carry into the early 30s, after that the body and reflexes have deteriorated enough through so much use that, although a person can fight well still, it won't be enough to be elite class anymore; such happens to many ATGs.

So personally maybe its just his size but since climbing to WW I think he's beginning to deteriorate athletically. I think he's winning more now due his learning curve and skill.
