Honestly, when will Kesslers Milk run end?

I don't get why Kessler just won the title and he already has to do his mandatory defence. If Haussler is the #1 contender then why didn't the WBA put him in against KEssler for the vacant belt in the first place?

Haussler was a rated higher than Sartisan. Team Kessler bypassed Hausler in favor of Sartisan(I think Haussler was unavailable). Anyway,becasue he skipped over Haussler, he now has to fight him. That's the downfall of chasing after a vacant title.

 

Hopefully no more tomato cans after Haussler.. He should try looking to unifying by fighting Bute (if he beats Andrade), then Froch (for the WBC), and then hopefully a fight with Pavlik in the future..

 

Miranda is tame

 

Why Miranda would of just lost like against every top level fighter he has fought.

 

if Haussler was unavailable then normally thats his problem and he should have to wait the full period until his mandatory challenge

 

I don't know the exact scenario. All I know is that Haussler was in line to get the fight instead of Sartison. Sartison got the fight anyway, and now Kessler has to fight Haussler.

 

Like I said prior to the Calzaghe fight, Lacy was more proven as a fighter than Kessler was in my viewpoint, despite Kessler being the better fighter.

Even with only 20 fights, Lacy had done more proving than Kessler did prior to Calzaghe.

Reid, Sheika, Pemberton, Vanderpool were all proven content before Lacy fought them.

Wiggins and Williams were good gatekeeper style fights.

There was a reason other than look that Lacy had been hyped, he'd beaten several top 168 fighters.

Kessler got over-rated based on the Mundine situation. Mundine is thought to be better than he actually ever has shown.

 

I'm skeptical of how Kessler's handlers will pave his career since the way they handled the Miranda situation. I could see him following the path of Felix Sturm, who looked like he could have been in some big attraction fights after De La Hoya and instead settled for going for a paper belt and second-tier defenses.
