I checked Hausler's record and it appears as though he is definitely a "can."
Not to mention the fact that he'll be 0-3 vs. Danish fighters once Kessler puts him away.

HBO dictates fights these days so...
Bute vs Andrade on HBO (aren't they?) and if Bute wins (I'm kinda doubting it) he fights Kessler. Unless Winky realized Oscar wont fight him and get's off his @$$.

Kessler would box Mirandas ears off.

    :patsch :patsch :patsch

Anyone's record can be putunder this kind of scrutiny.

Lucas, Siaca, Mundine, Beyer and Andrade were ALL in the TOP 10 when Kessler fought them. By contrast only about 4 of Calzaghes opponents were in the top 10 when he faced them.
As for the one's you mentioned Lacy fought.
Sheika was shot and had multiple losses.
    Pemberton was 40!
    Vanderpool had beaten NO ONE!
Reid may have been a top 5 (doubt it) with multiple losses but he was no Mundine.
Wiggins and Williams were nowhere near the fighters Kessler faced in his last 5 fight prior to Calzaghe. In fact, they were closer to Thobeela (former WBC SMW champ) and Green (former WBA MW champ) who Kessler had slaughtered way back in 2002 and 2004.
Just because they waven't been covered on ESPN or HBO doesn't mean they were bums.

Steps up ?!?! Miranda is a step up from Beyer (#4 when Kessler KO3'ed him) Mundine (now #2 - if you don't count Joe) and Andrade (#5 when he faced Kessler).

BTW Haussler gets the shot so early bc Palle didn't want to promote kesslers big comeback against someone two other Danish fighters had already beaten. Sartison was undefeated and that sound a lot better on paper. Haussler's management freaked out and (since the WBA is up their @rse) got the "defence in 120 days" thing.

PP, this is a dispointing post, and I rate you on here.

It's ludicriously negative towards Kessler's opponents and strangely positive in favour of Lacy's, more spin than a washing machine.

I think its summed up by referring to Wiggins and Williams as good gatekeeper fights, yet all Kessler's are unproven/bums/had losses :-(

    Come on man.

While I agree with the general thrust of your thread the highlighted bit is utter bull****.

Exactly what he said (except for the bit about Calzaghe). And Kessler didn't just beat all those guys, he beat them very easily.
