Honestly: Why did Fury never get the respect and credit for beating Klitschko?

Press got on his back, he is a polarising figure anyway .... the hardcore will always respect what he did and know what an achievement it was but the mainstream will never do the same just because of what he is like as a person he will never get the support of the press and that is how most people will make their decision on him.

He landed 85 punches to win the belts from a guy who was old and had rarely(never?) fought anybody his own size. I enjoyed his reign more than the fight.

Really where is your source. It is still in litigation by his lawyers no where has it said they were innocent matter of fact the latest said the exact opposite.. He was suspended as is still suspended for pissing dirty. UKAD have not cleared him of his steroid use. Furthermore it goes to show my point he made up injuries because they were trying to hide that he was suspended from fighting the whole time.

He's clearly a simpleton willing to defend Team Furys actions no matter what.
