Thomas Hearns, he is an ATG, but took two L's in his biggest fights. (leonard 1, Hagler). He had the city of Detroit in his hands back in the 1980's, when he took those L's, it seemed like the whole city got knocked out.

JAMES F*CKIN TONEY. My favorite growing up. Dude had natural skill for days but tried to slide past without training sometimes. He would put on a virtuoso performance and then look like a complete bum. Oh well. Still support him but he needs to hang em up like after a farwell fight after the second peter fight.

    This.

A truly great Old School fighter who could have lived in ANY era, and succeeded. Obviously just couldn't be bothered.

    Bowe!

when he became champ he should have faced Lewis but ran like a coward instead.
he then fights mostly nobodies only to fall hard when faced with Golota. i know Bowe got the wins by DQ, but it was clear who the better fighter was on both nights.

i expected so much more from him.

Edison Miranda, so much power, got robbed vs Abraham in the first fight and then just derailed

started getting stopped, started gaining weight and seemed unfocused

his skills never progressed, he never complimented the big right with a set up jab or a left hook or some kind of body work to wear guys down who he couldnt catch

    David Price, no contest.

The guy has all the tools, but no heart, no stamina, & no brains.

    He's a 2013 version of Golota.

Audley Harrison - thought after the williams rematch he had turned the corner and we would at least see him get to world level - never really happend

David Haye - thought he was great as a crusier fast power took risks like fighting Thompson after 11 fights and Mormeck in his backyard - thought he needed to beat Adamek or USS to be a clearly defined number 1 in the divison. Gave him the benefit of the doubt at the time as he was moving up - really expected a better level of competiton from him.

hes tended to go for the attention fights as heavy ie. Audley , Chisora etc I wanted him in there with Arreola who i think he could have beat or some other decent heavys as it is hes chased the cash talked a lot of **** which he never used to and hasnt done much bar get a decision in an awful fight against Valuev and spark Del Boy whos Euro level at best. Thank god for Froch

Cunningham and Adamek weren't really challenges at the time Haye was at Cruiserweight though.

and as for calling Arreola a decent fighter... WTF! he was a bum from the start who never mattered in any way. Chisora is a much better fighter. although you're right about the Audley fight. that was just for the money.

Frank "The Animal" Fletcher, for blowing his shot at Marvelous Marvin Hagler's World Middleweight Title not once, but twice in 1983 in nationally televised losses to Wilford "The Scorpion" Sypion and Juan Domingo Roldan.

Odlanier Solis. I still feel he got all the talent he needs to become the champion. Too bad he doesn't have any will to do anything with it.
