I allready read many posts about this and speak with my trainer but. the question is what i should do to be sure that i always strike with my cnukles and not with fingers when i hook.I use vertical psition and i found when i train with slim gloves that some times make contact first with my finger (mifle) thanks.

Answer is in your feet and elbow. Commit more with your step in and keep your elbow at 90 degrees. If you are too far away (feet) and open up the elbow (>90 degrees)... The fingers hit first. The same thing goes for an uppercut going low. Open up the elbow too far and your punch is low.

A wider hook is still a weapon, but just make sure that you are doing it on purpose.

Remember that your body turns, the arm doesn't move.

The hook is all about your arm at 90 degrees, thumb up, pivoting your feet and hips into the punch.

Don't throw it as an arm punch.
