They sold the fight PPV on SKY based on a dangerous opponent with an unbeaten record. Very risky indeed. Any fighter who was matched against Khan tonight would not have been allowed to step in the ring with a record like 20-5. The guy was unknown. Mind of Torres when he just about shocked Cotto?. He's not going to be out of business, but you have to wonder where he goes from here. Arthur lost, Khan lost, Calzaghe and Hatton have left and even one of his better second tier fighters in Matthews has signed with Haye. If Enzo doesn't beat Banks, he's got nobody of any note.

Even if Khan had an iron chin he was extremely limited overall as a fighter. The idea that this kid was sold as a phenom to the British public is a pure :huh . Amir Khan is one of the greatest frauds in sports history, without exaggeration. They had books, documentaries, foundations, TV specials, endorsement deals... He was presented as if he was Muhammad Ali, Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods...
