You are the one stating that you know for a fact that that particular body shot did more damage than that particular headbutt.

I do not know for sure. What I do know is that in general: headbutts do significantly more damage than body shots.

My first reaction was "HOOOOOLY SHEEEEEEET", maybe it was a bit too sedate!

 

I saw that **** live and just as I saw the clash of heads my wife said it out loud, "headbut" then the right hand came along, it was weird at first becuase the angle we had on Showtime (LIVE) didnt show it from the side as the gif shows that floating around here, but I could have sworn I saw a headbut, then after seeing Torres in the condition he was in my attention was turned to him he looked bad.
after watching the replays showtime made it look like a left hook right hand set that up, but when I first noticed it neither of those shots landed, then comes the replays My god, and the gif only further supports what happend, if you watch the slo mo gif, you will see the result of the headbut when you look at the legs of Torres, he was butted right on the chin area and he responded as if it were are clean hard punch, his legs were gone as he stumbled into the ropes and Holt to his credit took advantage and finished the deal.
it should be reviewed and the out come should be over turned.

 

couldnt agree with this guy anymore. Anyone who knows boxing knows that left to the body was killer and right on the money. Even if the headbutt didnt happen and holt's 1-2 didnt land, that left to the body would have backed him off or finished him with a couple more. that is torres's soft spot, just look at his fight with cotto if you need proof.
