Sherdog lacks in the boxing forums and I love boxing so I get the both of best worlds here too. It is kinda funny to see people fight with the trolls though. Can't believe people can't just ignore them
It is what it is. Trolls obviously rankle some people. I generally tend to ignore them. As for Sherdog i remember long before that site was an MMA site. It used to a site full up with skater boys who posted street fights and all kinds of crap. Thats was long before the forums came along. Since the explosion of MMA the world and its wife frequents Sherdogs. The traffic that place gets is insane along with at least 70% of the posters being utter garbage. I rarely visit there other than to view the front page when im bored.
Crap dude I never knew that lol. I used to have an account there a long time ago but posted like once and left. Don't care if I get an account there or not lol. ESB is better with less trolls and fools
ESB's MMA crowd is generally decent and knowledgable. The boxing side is full of critics and know-it-alls. Classic boxing is an exception here where posters are usually informed and those who aren't are curious about boxing's past.
We are like a family here on the MMA side. Example me and Scur will get into pretty bad arguments over someone like Nick Diaz ill call him a drug addict and he will call me a redneck 2 days later we are basically praising each other. Kinda like brothers that never met. Its the same way with everyone here the arguments dont last long and usually the good points points are made along the way instead of just saying so and so was robbed or hes just shot over and over. I love this forum its just busy enough go to sherdog and make a post if they dont ban you for not using the search engine first it will be on page 3 within 10 minutes.
