How did Ali do at 39 compared to Wlad at 39?

Let's keep it in perspective now, that wasn't a prime wlad

    1. At 39, Ali was half the fighter Wlad is
    2. Jennings was stronger (in fact as heavy as Foreman), more athletic, longer reach than Ali.
    3. Jennings clearly lost

This fight shows that Ali (smaller, less athletic and at least 5in less in reach) would struggle to find Wlad's face. Jennings was fast, had reach, was strong and he couldn't find Wlad's face; he had to resort to body punching.

Ali was much greater than Wlad but we have to stop comparing athletes of 50 years ago to today, they have gotten stronger, bigger, more athletic. Ali, iMO, was simply to small for Wlad... He was much greater but for his time. Times change...

Jennings, has been fighting only 6 years and has little top level skill really, he' an athlete. Faced with this Wlad couldn't do anything. Still this was basically the same old Wlad who is always shi☆☆ing himself whenever someone attacks him. Still unable to put combinations together, and is a one punch at a time fighter. Against a great heavyweight with speed and a little power, who can punch in combination, I just don't see Wlad being able to win. It doesn't have to be an Ali to defeat Wlad. For all his physical gifts, Wlad still can't fight on the inside/mid range. Doesn't punch in combinations, and doesn't absorb punishment well. His size is his great equalizer.

Wladimir Klitschko is in his 100% prime.
Everybody knows wladimirs' prime started after Sdunek trainer.
Now sdunek isn't wladimir's trainer, is he ?

Oh some guys are hilarious. Klitschko become father last year, he was moving to see his child and maybe even take this fight litghly and his preparation wasnt 100%.
Still Wlad was hit to the head for 12 rounds by just 3-4 glancing shots, for whole match, and people start to retire him ...
And that by a lot younger opponent, who have big reach advantage .... Some folks rly not know anything about boxing.

Wait a second, wait a second.

When Ali was Wlad's age or around there, he was looking like a corpse against Larry Holmes.

    Age matters. Fighters grow old.

Wlad's greatest fight by far and he won it with a mangled shoulder. Chagaev hard a hard time landing a body shot.

Relatively speaking one would never put the two in the same sentence Ali was smooth, slick, strong and beyond his years wlads a solid champ who's greatest asset is his size and ability to avoid being clipped on his questionable mandible. You can't deny wlads skill set its consistent and technically sound however he will never be as profound and as talent as Ali and I think it's unfair to make the comparison it just dosent put things in proper perspective.

At least from a pound 4 pound sense it doesn't make sense a fairer comparison would be with Lennox Lewis
