Gaz, you should write an open letter to Brit ESB and let us know exactly what you think :yep

Anyway....Hopes: better domestic matchups, the past few years have being quite good and I hope it gets better. Better learning fights for our prospects...more attempts by promoters and Sky to attract the mainstream...more US cards on UK tv....Less Adam Smith and more Ian Darke...**** Piper off and get Spencer Oliver in the studio...better undercard fights!

Expectations...Matt Hatton to continue winning and therefore pissing Brit ESB off ....people not being happy with Khan and Haye no matter what they do...an increase in Haye haters on the Brit Forum, before the sun shone out of his arse on here and now he's public enemy no1....same boring **** from Sky pundits...more "Arram punches" and fighters not working hard enough in the "gymnasium"

Fears....Our prospects not being moved along properly and not being active enough...more Eurobums on undercards...Matt Hatton winning a "world title"

I hope all the September and October schedule comes off and its a massive success from Sky. Last seasons FNFs were disappointing but I really feel the promoters are trying to put together quality matchups. I mean next month alone we have more better fights than the entire of last season! Very excited about it.

I also hope people move on from endlessly discussing fights that might/might not happen, the boxing world is vast and quality matchups are always around the corner. Calderon-Segura should be sparking massive interest, yet not many really seem to be bothered. Also hope something is done about the General, even with how **** it is it seems to be getting worse, I usually click on the General and see all the usernames on last posts and just click straight off it again...

    Hopes

    -The best fight the best

-People stop investing so much meaning into title belts

-Khan fights one of Bradley, Alexander, Maidana

-Barrera, Morales and Marquez wind down and retire for good. JMM has one of two top level fights left IMO, the other two should knock it off ASAP.

-Hasegawa returns will no ill effects from his surgery.

-Tyson Fury sorts his midsection/engine out.

    -Bellew smashes Clev :yep

    Fears

-Boxing really pisses me off and I just stick to watching old stuff.

-The top fighters look even further away from fighting each otherdue to easily available 'interim' titles and whatnot.

-Floyd Vs Pacman still doesn't come off. I don't think it will.

-Warren doesn't continue with making competitive match-ups. We don't need a 'Magnificent Seven' every month, but three top fights a bill isn't unfeasible is it?

In short, I'm waiting with baited breath, essentially in limbo. I'm not massively interested in boxing at the moment, just watching a lot of older fights and keeping up with reading up on past greats.

I'm just about into the current scene to know who's who.

    HOPES-

    FEARS-

    Morales gets hurt.
The Super six suffers more disruptions
Judging keeps at the same level

    My Dream

That we somehow in one way or another get more cards shown on tv. Whether it be a channel that does what Setanta did for us or a number of channels picking up on shows.

I also dream that we get at least 1 Major bout this season. I also dream that Boxing will invest in guys like Gorilla productions and guys who can market the sport properly and we get better shows.

    Hopes

That Froch gets to the top of Mountain. Really hope his hard graft is repaid. I love the grinders (no homo) the guys who don't have the flashy skills but through dedication and will power get what they want. Shows nothing is impossible.

I want our prospects to get out there, I be honest fellas i used to enjoy seeing our prospects be defeated. Didn't like that they were hyped up mostly and spoiled but i now have to put aside personal feelings and hope these ''leaders of the new school'' take boxing back to front pages. I also want Timothy Bradley to claim his rightful place on Throne @ 140lbs.

Last but not least Roy Jones Jnr retiring and getting out before it's to late. I fear for these guys and i don't like fact he's still trying to prove haters wrong, Give it up Roy...Your on the greats of this era and i don't care what anyone says. Pure brilliance to watch.

I hope Ringside gets good viewing figures and helps bring in new fans.

    Expectations

I expect our prospects to continue to progress, I expect Tony Jefferies to be our first Olympian to lose.

I expect that Andre Berto will get exposed. JMM-Katsidis will be a fight for the ages.

    Fear

That boxing continues in same vain. Also that our young stars from here and abroad are beaten or injured. Next year we need active fighters fighting the best and going about there business. I fear that guys in sport who really do try leave or give up caring and trying to improve sport.

I also fear that we will lose more fighters in ring to death. My main hope before and after each bout is that fighters are healthy and leave ring as they entered. Able to walk, talk and see there loved ones.

RIP The Guys Who Lost Life in Ring This Year.

    As always, top thread, Slip.

    DREAM:

To go and watch Gamboa-Juanma at Meadowlands next year or, better still, JMM-Pacquiao 5:yep. Realistically, I hope to go to a few big fights next year in the UK.

    HOPES:

Sky or ESPN sign a deal with Top Rank, Haye fights either Klitschko, Manny and Floyd stop the posturing and just make the fight we all want to see.

    EXPECTATIONS:

Better fights. Lots of good fights are in the process of being set-up at the moment and now we can sit back and hopefully look forward to and watch all of them in the coming months. Happy days.

    FEAR:

Uninspiring mismatches persist and yet more cancellations and injuries ruin fights we have all been looking forward to.

    My Dream
    Munroe wins the WBC title.

    Haye beats Klitschko.

    Pacquiao and Mayweather fight.

    Hopes
More top fighters fighting each other.

Yuriorkis Gamboa wins his next match.

    Expectations
Haye will not fight either of the Klitchkos

    Mayweather will continue avoiding Pacquiao

    Fear
    Things don't change.

Everyone who I want to win loses.
