    Pavlik wont beat Hopkins easily

Hopkins was 1-0-1 on my cards against Taylor, i thought he lost to calzaghe, Hopkins dosent doubt that he lost to Jones or Clinton Mitchell

You're absolutely right. He has always been upfront about losing his first professional fight (at 175) and the Jones fight, but in his eyes those were the only two LEGITAMTE LOSSES IN HIS CAREER....and you can make an strong case that he's right about that.

He openly admitted that he lost to Jones and accepted it(watch post-fight interviews after both Taylor losses), it's the Joe Calzaghe and Taylor losses that he doesn't approve of.

Pavlik could knock Hopkins out cold and through the ropes in the first round, and Hopkins would still claim that he won. And, many of Hopkins fans here on ESB would start all kinds of threads making excuses and claiming that despite getting his ass kicked, Hopkins has a better 'resume' than Pavlik or any other fighter the beats him.

I had RJJ winning their fight clearly. No contest.

I thought he drew with Taylor the first time, and lost the second.

He lost to Calzaghe, but it was a close decision.

He also lost early in his career before all of these fights.

I thought Calz won but it was close enough that I could see a SD.

When you read this, and you read the "Tyson is a ****ing gent" thread, you realise what deluded ****s the American fanboys can be. Which makes it all the more farcical when you see them slagging off the Hatton or Calzaghe fans.

Hey hang on a minute Bozo I happen to be a friend of Bernard Hopkins and take offence at you calling him a crackhead.
What is obvious is you have no knowledge of boxing or boxers in gerneral. I suggest you wise up and act intelligent or someone might tell your Daddy what your doing online and he'll ground you :hi: :admin :patsch

Taylor may have won on points but Hopkins beat him up right in that first fight. The rounds Taylor won, he won by a hair. The rounds Hopkins won, Taylor was getting his ass whipped.

In my eyes, Hopkins will always be head and shoulders above Taylor

Jones didn't beat him easily since he fought cautious early, had to fight his way out of the ropes with super-fast flurries to the body and never dropped the rain on Bernard. Actually, Jones did show a lot of respect for the man and HBO commentators pointed it out like Clancy... The official verdict was 116-112 on all three judges cards. Lederman is obviously a drugstore moron.
