Hopkins A Big Favorite Over Shumenov?

Shumenov is just some part type fighter with, judging by that Campillo fight, no boxing brain and no inside game, inexperienced. also announces everything he does by hilarious moaning.
Sure Bhops age is ridiculous but I'm expecting some Pavlik type domination nonetheless
If somehow its not going Bhop way hes gonna jump out of the ring and blame the ref or fake some injury to get out with a NC or tech draw anyways..

 

I would be shocked if Shumi pulled this one off

the look on Adonis and Al Haymon's faces would be priceless

 

I think Hopkins is only like a 2-1 favorite. That's not a "huge" favorite.

 

Hopkins SHOULD dominate him. Even when being aggressive Shumenov swings wide and slow. Hasn't been in with anybody better than Campillo yet.

At this point in Hopkins' career anything is possible though. I mean....Shumenov could go in there and stand in a corner without throwing a single punch for 12 rounds and still have a chance of winning from Hopkins just not having the stamina.

 

He shouldn't be

 

Hopkins is a way bigger favorite on this board than the betting money has him. This isn't an easy fight for him at this stage of his career.

 

LOL at the fact that BHOP has to go his whole career and at 50 years old finally come in as the favorite.

 

All the more reason for the judges to give Hopkins every benefit of doubt on the cards and for the referee to not enforce the rules.. The network wants Hopkins/Stevenson next.

 

^ LOL. In all these years, I have never seen Hopkins receive a freebie from the judges or the ref.

 

BHop is showing his age finally . . . Shu may be catching him at the right time. 5 years ago I would say easy schooling but this may be a changing of the guard type fight. If Bhop can turn back the clock for the thousandth time he will win with a closer UD then people think . . . dangerous fight!

 

BHOP is bound to get old sooner or later.
No telling who will be in the ring with him at that time.

 

dont see it happening but this is boxing where anything can happen. if BHop didnt get old over night, its his fight to lose.
