Ive been saying this for years. This guy is a legend. He is einstein of the boxing ring.

He never ceases to shock me with the upsets he pulls.

I put my money on him in the Joe C fight and lost, but I would do it again in a heartbeat.

He is quickly becoming my favorite boxer of all time. Maybe aside from Ali.

    I respect Hopkins so much.
I used think he was a **** but all that he has achieved and always face's the best comp. Especially considering what he had to overcome, coming out of prison and starting a life in boxing from there.

yep, completely agree! i also lost money in the joe calzaghe fight, so i didnt bother putting any money on him for pavlik, and look what happens! still its still worth putting some cash on, when it comes down to hopkins as a underdog!

Bernard Hopkins is a legend, an ATG, a Master Boxer who would've succeeded in any era, one of the 40 greatest fighters of all-time, and second only to Roy Jones Jr in pound-for-pound terms since the careers of Whitaker and Chavez began to wind down in the mid-1990s. Even in 50 years when most of the other wannabes have been forgotten, his exploits after the age of 40 will still be remembered and talked about.

    Legend.

Anyone doing a highlight video of Hopkins vs. Pavlik with Rhianna's "Disturbia" as backround music?

Please send me a link then...

Bernard Hopkins might be the greatest fighter in boxing history. He is too good to get beaten up at the end (Robinson, Ali, Holmes, Tyson), too good to ever get KOed (Duran), too good to get whooped at the end by someone like Camacho (Leonard), BERNARD HOPKINS might be the greatest there ever was.

Yep. He has ALOT of heart. And he is also extremely smart. One thing I have always noticed about Hopkins is he makes the most out of advantages and his oponents disadvantages. Just a smart smart fighter with alot of discipline.
