Look on BoxRec and see his fights listed you ****ing moron! Go check his opponents credentials at the time when he fought them. These were mostly very legitimate contenders. I suppose you think kessler is **** also? You probably bet against Joe when he faced Lacy too.

I can name all 44, seeing as I have them all on video just a couple of clicks away. Why don't you take your argument to this page:

    http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=49546&page=2

There are a number of good posts on that thread which cover what I'm talking about and there's no need for me to explain the same **** over and over again... to a moron.

He is a talent. He is not the 2008 white equivalent of Ray Leonard. At least yet he's not.

I'm sure you also have a wallsized poster of Calzaghe in your bedroom with a hole cut out at the groin area that you stick your ***** in and out of as well.

DLH does not mean **** at 160, absolutely ****ing nothing!

    joe's best wins are....

    kessler
    eubank
    reid
    mitchell
    brewer
    lacy
    sheika
    woodhall

2 were champs at the time joe faced them and 5 had held world titles in the past, oh and all were natural at the weight, unlike winky, tito and DLH. :yep

And if it had a poster with a rear shot of Calzaghe, it would have a hole in his ass also. HA HA.

RJJ lost because for whatever reason he was on a slippery slope down hill with regards to his skills and physical ability, nothing to do with being a "blown up middleweight".

oh and for the record, hopkins in the past has stated that he is infact much more natural at LHW than he ever was at MW.

You haven't backed anything up except your ignorance, though. Where is this **** you backed up? What have you backed up? Nothing. because you're not saying anything, you're just babbling on about the same old **** I've seen over the last 4 years of reading ESB forums.

BTW, I'm unaffected by the dick jokes. You'll have to come wioth something better than imagining me ****ing a hole in a poster. Is that really the best you guys can do in terms of humour? Really?

Not at all. Joe walks around at 196 pounds. He's closer to heavyweight than super middle, but he's a natural crusier.

i'm not excusing the likes of wright, DLH and tito. they were simply outsized and outgunned due to the weight they fought at and this affected there performances in a bad way and gave hopkins a major advantage. these are facts, not excuses.

i don't care for any of the above fighters, i have no reason to excuse them.

oh and calzaghe has to do a lot of work to get down to 168.

Oh please. Just shut up man.

You can use that excuse for Winky but the other two? Come on. Weight played a role but not a MAJOR role, as you stated.

The DLH fight was at a catch weight of 156 which is just 2 lbs north of his ideal weight at the time. Tito was making the natural progression to MW.

Do people stay at the same weight throughout their whole careers or do people move up as time goes on?

You can't fault Hopkins for having the discipline to stay in shape throughout his whole career and stay at one weight for over a decade. That is a tribute to him.

I guess Hopkins was vastly outsized when he moved up two freaken weight classes and completely dominated what was then perceived to be THE best LHW in the world huh? And this was coming off of two losses in a row at MW. Yeah, no adversity there.

When PBF moved up to 154 to fight DLH, did it affect him adversely?

When Mosley movd up 12 lbs to fight DLH at 147, did it affect him adversely?

I'm so sick of people discrediting Hopkins and his wins. You give him no credit. I'm not saying weight didn't play an issue but it didn't play as much a role as some of you claim it did. That is all you guys focus on in a sad attempt to discredit what Hopkins did. Please, people do not stay at the same weight all the time. Most fights come down to someone who stayed at a certain weight for longer than another fighter.
