I thought Hopkins was racist and a despicable human being? Anyway, it's a touching story and it's sad to see a young kid suffer and die like that. I'm glad Hopkins was able to provide some joy in the kid's life before he passed away.

That my friends is the REAL Bernard Hopkins. All the bravado and flag stomping is just hype.
Kudo's to Nard and to Shaun what a brave guy fought till the very end

One good act does not make a good person. All people have the evil and good side.

Hopkins is basically a slime, criminal and prejudice.

All that said, i respect him greatly as a boxer, nothing as a person.

Yah robbing people and stabbing people and going to prison are just words. hop had like 10 felonies..he was in prison a hell of a long time. You think one act of generousity makes up for that?

    Think b4 u type

Those arrests happend over 20 years ago. You have no idea about all the good things he's done since getting out of jail. However, I was refering more to your assesment that Hopkins is slime and prejudice.

That's a good idea, you should follow your own advice.
