Calslappy knows he lost that fight. Look at Calzaghe's face and B-Hop after the fight. B-Hop ain't even bruise or swollen up.
Hopkins tried to stink the joint out and suck the life out of the paying crowd. **** that fight again, it was terrible.
Calzaghe moved up to light heavyweight to beat the man at the division in his own back yard, it was also Calzaghe's first fight at that weight.. I think most people forgets that.. The judges and ref was also american werent they? Btw, it wasnt one of those fights that we want to see more of was it?
I scored that fight a draw, with two even rounds (which I really shy away from giving) that if you put a gun to my head, I think I would have to give to Hopkins. If there were a rematch, I'd imagine Hopkins would try to be more aggressive on Calzaghe and try to walk him down at some points, like Roach was asking him to.
Calzaghe won and is happily retired. Get over it. If he did come back, it would be more entertaining to see him take on the Super Six winner. I hope he doesn't bother.
Calzaghe has been retired for a couple of years now and has documented drug problems. Cut it out you idiot Bernard
Calzaghe only had a graze at the top of his nose. It's not like his eyes were cut or swollen. One punch can cause a cut. Besides, a fighter with bad facial damage can still deserve to win the fight. Anyhow, it's difficult to tell how badly bruised Hopkins was; his face is naturally lumpy and unattractive.
Calzaghe won that fight, it was close though. I had it 115-112. Poll after poll people say Calzaghe won, and he is hated a lot here in America. American ref, judges, in America, let it go. I wanted Hopkins to win and he didn't. He was outworked in a close fight.....case closed.
BHop won easily the only reason he lost was because of his quote he publicly made which was "I WILL NEVER LOSE TO A WHITE MAN" period
