I am a huge Hopkins fan and I thought Calzaghe won the fight and it was boring as hell. I wouldn't want to see a repeat of the first fight. Hopkins is even older now and Calzaghe has been retired and snorting coke so won't be anywhere near the fighter that he was. Why would anyone want this fight, it would make Haye/Wlad look like the thrilla in manilla.

I think Hopkins asked for a rematch about a year back as well.

Joe Calzaghe is past it. He's retired and he's partying with Hatton and Micky Rourke. B-Hop had his chance to win, but he was too busy blowing on the floor and faking low blows.

The first fight was close, but terrible. Nobody wants to see a rematch.

Total cop-out explanation right there. All that did was make Hopkins look stupid. Sure it probably pissed white people off, but that didn't change the actual performance in the fight.

no, that's the actual reason why hopkins lost. everyone was rooting for calzaghe, and hbo knew letting hopkins win was a bad for publicity. the whole commentator team was rooting for calzaghe. everyone knows hopkins won that fight and did it pretty easily.

Right because their scores actually are official? If you feel Hopkins won that fight "easily" then you need to reevaluate your scoring criteria.

Obviously it was a close fight, but I believe there is a reason more people though Calzaghe won. It's funny how a white person was racially insulted, then is having the insult used against him, like it was his fault he outboxed Hopkins. Let it go bro, it's not 1954 anymore.

Calzaghe would rather sniff coke like a 21 year old chav than have a superfight rematch with one of the greats of his era in his home nation's capital of Cardiff, where Hopkins had said he would willingly go for this fight.

He scuttled off into retirement rather than rematch an ATG, and now his home fans don't get to see this fight because he's either too scared or too coked out his brain.

    Dire.

    Oh, the racist card.

Surely Hopkins fell victim for the white worldwide concpiracy. It has connections everywhere.
