It will be an interesting, exciting five or six rounds at the beginning. Then Joshua's athleticism, boxing IQ and experience would overwhelm Fury. "Joshua would come out of a dust-storm based on his experience. "At this point he has to make a really serious statement based on [the Andy Ruiz Jr loss]. Redemption. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.sk...ill-knock-out-tyson-fury-says-bernard-hopkins Thoughts?
I agree, I think Joshua is gonna ko fury, fury has skills but I feel like Joshua has the style to beat him. People are starting to think fury’s invincible since he ko’d wilder (who’s a bum)
Interesting. You need to explain that "style". The slow, stiff bodybuilder with no head movement and footwork? He won't be able to pull off another Ruiz 2 performance against the taller Fury too. Really curious which style that is. Fury isn't losing to Joshua. Joshua is a stiff, slow robot with no head movement and horrendous footwork. I know Wilder is worse (but has more power) but Fury gonna outclass Joshua and might stop him too. Wilder has a way better chin than Joshua. One well timed punch to the side of the head / ear by Fury and Joshua is concussed again. Fury KO if he fights like he did against Wilder in the rematch.
Yes, AJ always comes prepared and Fury is in horrible shape every other fight. Probably balloons between fights as well, which means he won't have a long reign.
AJ is a big stiff niave and inexperienced version of Wlad AJ gasses mid fight and Fury stops him AJ hasnt got the skills, gas tank, chin, heart or balls that Fury does. his footwork and basic combination punching will leavd him dead in the water against Fury who will eat him alive. punching power blinds people, Wilder is a case example. Hopkins is racially and class biased as proven in many interviews and he bases his views of fighters on these aspects when they have been proven to be irrelevant. AJ lost to a little fat man then struggled to ring circle for 12 rounds to evade him in a rematch. Fury is levels ahead of the division. He was 5 years ahead in 2015 and hes still 5 years ahead in 2020 even with a 3 year lay off.
Some more Bhop quotes: -If Fury beats Wilder I'll stop talking for a year -Wilder won the first fight -Wilder is the #1 HW -Wilder will KO Fury He's not great at evaluating current HW matchups let's be honest.
I have a feeling Fury will whoop AJ if he adopts the approach he used vs Wlad. If he tries to roll him like he rolled Wilder, he'll discover AJ is much better than Wilder and he's going to come unstuck.
I feel ashamed for having supported Bernard Hopkins during his career. Some of the stuff he has been coming out with in the last few years have been outrageous. 1. Anthony Joshua is not more athletic than Tyson Fury. He's clearly confusing aesthetic build with athleticism. They can coexist, but they are not synonymous. 2. Boxing IQ - he must be joking. It seems like this myth has been built upon the shoulders of Anthony Joshua's performance in Saudi Arabia. It doesn't take much thought to formulate a plan to circle an obese, short man for the duration of the bout and then cling on to him for dear life any time he comes close to you. 3. Anthony Joshua is not more experienced than Tyson Fury. People will say he has had more title defences. I would say 'so what?' Does beating more Carlos Takams, Eric Molinas, Dominic Breazeales and Joseph Parkers in your own back garden override the experience of being written off against an active, reigning champion in Wladimir Klitschko and Deontay Wilder twice, in their venue of choice and beating them? You could compete against Carlos Takam and beat him 10 consecutive times and it still wouldn't be as impressive as what Tyson Fury did in his 'big 3'.
Has "I would never lose to a white boy" Hopkins ever picked a white fighter to beat a black fighter. I am asking for a friend.
Fury is getting a little overrated, but he is levels ahead of the bodybuilder and even more so than that plodded lump Whyte Fury rises to the occasion when he faces danger and his fight with Aj will be one sided Fury tko rounds 7-9
