    Its a hell of a fight, I was in Las Vegas in 1995 and walking down towards Johnny Toccos Gym on Charleston Boulevard , Bernard was pulling out of a 7/11 and offered me a lift to the gym, it was only 100 yards away but he saw that it was hot as hell and i was struggling with my camera case.. Bernard is a very solid stand up guy , he loves the underdog and is by no means a racist , he has said a few things but i dont think for a minute that he meant any of it.. Bernard is testiment to how many a man can change thier lives if they have thier spirit, Mike Tyson was exactly the same.. They always gave more than they received .. It is just never publicised.. They are ultimate good guys...

    id only read about the man for the past decade or more..to see him getting interviewed and see what a stand up, down to earth guy he is just reinforced what i had assumed about him.....great to see a guy remembering his roots and his past hardships..an inspiration.....
