I live in South of England, which is a different country to Wales and language in some parts before you have more assumptions. Its just an opinion. Hopkins is a great fighter but his big name wins are De La Hoya whos career started at SFW, Trinidad, Wright and Pavlik all had to come up in weight to make the fight happen against Hopkins whos career started at LHW.

    Tito Trinidad.

You can argue Pavlik or Tarver but it's got to be Tito.

Slappy did NOT clearly beat Hopkins. He was awarded a debatable SD win
The two are very very different

Baily If I honestly thought either Calzaghe or Taylor REALLY beat Bernard Hopkins I'd be the first to say so. BUT Neither did REALLY beat him. They got dubious decisions wins 2 were split decision wins. The only men that legitimately beat Hopkins were Roy Jones jr & the guy in his pro debut

Oh, please! That knockout was so suspect. De La Hoya folded over a little body shot to avoid getting KO'd via head knockout, which would have been a lot more embarrassing.

    tito for me.
trinidad had just wiped the floor with joppy, who put all his marbles into tito not being able to carry his power up in weight.

everyone was looking forward to this fight but hopkins was just electric and looked better as the fight went on.
