Honestly, are you Calzaghe fans really excited about the prospects of your boy beating a 43 yr old man? Looks like a lose lose situation for Calzaghe

 

After slagging of us Brits I cant wait to see Hopkins whooped! I will be sat thier with a smile from ear to ear as Hopkins gets broken.

 

Hopkins is still a P4P fighter in most people's eyes, hes not your average 43 yr old is he?

 

Calzaghe is getting in Hopkins head too though

All Joe needs to say and does say is, "When we fight, you will lose"

He's said that a lot and Hopkins is getting defensive and is like a peacock showing his feathers by retaliating....its human nature....I still think he talks too much

can't wait for this fight, its not gonna be the walkover some calzaghe fans think it is and im quietly confident hopkins can spoil the fight and snatch the decision

btw: hopkins, i'd be willing to wager, is of above average intelligence he's simply not well educated.

This hits the nail on the head. Hopkins doesn't have to talk like the Queen of England to have intelligence. He is clearly a clever chap, no doubt about it. A lot of people are ignorant to what intelligence actually is.

 

I realise the subject states the thread is about how the British are arrogant, but when Hopkins is the guy saying it, and the bulk of the article is about Hopkins v Calzaghe, it's hard to divorce Calzaghe from the thread really, isn't it?

Why don't you just ignore the Calzaghe comments and discuss the arrogant British instead?

 

Its quite amazing isnt it? I do wonder how some fighters stay so "Ghetto" and "Real" when they live in nice gated communities.
