Joe doesn't need a Hopkins rematch. He just needs to demolish RJJ and retire on top.

Really? Financially if its the UK it wont matter all that much who he fights for bums on seats it will sell out. I am sure the hbo ppv for Dawson Calzaghe will be as high if not higher than Hopkins Calzaghe. People dont go mad for Hopkins these days because his style is perceived as boring.

Resume I think the Dawson fight is better. A champ who is hitting his peak vs a guy you beat 1+ year ago who is past his peak. I dont see how the 2nd fight with hopkins enhances his resume rather than Dawson.
I would like to see Calzaghe UD Hopkins too as I felt the first fight should have been.
But if he only has 1 fight after Jones left I would take Dawson.
