BHop's only chance is if Calzaghe damages his hand(s). Otherwise he'll be comprehensively outboxed from the outside and overwhelmed on the inside.

The judges will be against Calzaghe because he is Euro. I do not trust them, nor to I trust the ref.

  3. The thing about Joe is he looks messy but make no mistake it works plus the man specializes in ruining his opponents styles.

Personally I don't see hoe Bernard can train effectively for this fight not knowing which version of Joe will show up and more importantly Joe's ability to switch style mid fight gives me even more confidence in a Calzaghe victory.

The only controversy will be the prices people had to pay to watch the bout.

Two huge names but will provide us with little entertainment.

To effectively counter when you have the slower hands, your opponent has to stop punching. If Calzaghe exclusively throws in bunches, it will be difficult even for Hopkins to find him all night without leaving himself open.

And I personally believe Joe can crack with that left hand if he chooses to.

so by that anology you must think that if the 25 year old dawson does not beat the living **** out of 39 johnson, batter his arse so bad they need a strecher to get him out the ring , bearing in mind bernard never lost a round v johnson that dawson is not very good .

with your post there is no way calzaghe can possibly get any credit.

If age is really a factor, he shouldn't even be stepping into the ring. It's Bernard's own fault he's gotta do it at 43. He could have done this many, many years ago.

Hopkins is getting dominated if the referee doesn't let him cheat and wrestle the whole fight.

If the fight is close, Calzaghe will not have done enough to win. He already knows this.

    No excuses.

You're a bit gloomy today man. Everything OK?

    Be positive.

  12. Hopkins has never been stopped, and Calzaghe with bad hands and lack of serious KO pOWER, and the fight is in Las Vegas, Hopkins home country, i can possibly smell something bad:-( this fight will most likely go to the cards which worries me:patsch
i am gonna bet this fight at the over, im concerned someone likely JC will get robbed..

Not really. If the fight is close then Calzaghe loses on all fronts. He wouldn't have been able to impose his style on Hopkins and obviously would lose to a prime BHop.

This is obvious, that's why he has to beat him well enough to remove doubt.

Yep. From critiqs any way, Joe will have to OWN B-Hop to get credit for it. Anything less (fair or not) and he will be catchin **** for it.
