i would have to watch the fight again to see which rounds i gave to each fighter.. and in all honesty, i can't be bothered.

what ever way you look at it, your scorecard is still ****.

watched it about 6 months ago.

thought calzaghe won 8 rds to 4.

much preferred his pressure and workrate.

    hopkins just didn't do enough.

calzaghe was putting clusters together and scoring pts. :bbb

    i disagree with that.

obviously it doesn't deserve to be on the same level as it would have been back in 02,03.

but it's still a decent win for calzaghe.

it certainly meant more than the jones fight. :verysad

A new Troll to ESB, who has now shown himself to be a poor one with that ridiculous scorecard.
    Now a more realistic scorecard

    1. Hopkins 10-8
    2. Hopkins 10-9
    3. Calzaghe 10-9
    4. Calzaghe 10-9
    5. Calzaghe 10-9 Hopkins tried to land a cheap shot after the bell :-(
    6. Calzaghe 10-9
    7. Even 10-10 Calzaghe wins most of the round, with the odd Hopkins pot shot. Most are fooled at the end with a Hopkins headbutt and punch at same time, but replays show the typical head use.
    8. Calzaghe 10-9
    9. Calzaghe 10-9
    10. Hopkins 10-9
    11. Calzaghe 10-9
    12. Calzaghe 10-9

117-112 for Calzaghe (a clear win)

Hopkins had his best chance against Calzaghe, making him fight at a weight he hadnt fought before, in America with 3 American judges and Cortez as ref and he still didnt win.
Most people accept that Calzaghe won round 11, yet the judge who scored for Hopkins gave that round to Hopkins :huh. Thats the only reason it was even a SD, something Hopkins fans cling to, but fail to notice how wide the other judges scored for Calzaghe.
Just a point in Taylors 2 wins over Hopkins his overall points on the official scorecards total were 6 points higher than Hopkins overall scores between the 2 fights, yet Calzaghes 1 fight with Hopkins, had Joe 7 points higher than Hopkins overall. Complete dominance.
Im surprised anyone can believe in Hopkins winning this fight. When Hopkins is holding throughout, faking injurys and trying to get time out. Do you think if Hopkins thought he was ahead he would have tried to get Calzaghe points deducted?
People have to move on and except Calzaghe beat Hopkins and live with it

This. Clear win for Calzaghe. Hopkins looked like an old man with no stamina.. How anyone could ever score this fight for Hopkins is beyond me:huh

Calzaghe won the fight, big bad Bernard had to resort to faking low blows etc. Just like he played on being hit in the back of the head against RJJ.

When will you yanks finally come to terms with it, Hopkins LOST to Calzaghe. If you scored that fight in favour of Hopkins you are a tool.

The baldy is Pavlik, not Calzaghe!!

No seriously, the fight was much closer, most of the time I had it 113-115 for either man. Some rounds like 3 and 4 are a pain to score!!

Remember Joe outlanded Hopkins and landed more solid shots than Hopkins, just people mention Hopkins pot shots because they were all he was doing, when he wasnt holding and looking to survive

Why dont you tell us all about your 3 careers again :patsch. Or how you were semi retired in your 30s :patsch.

Just need to remind you though, that it is a boxing forum. Why dont you take your life story to the lounge. The interest would be huge :nut
