No he wasn't stuttering but talking while loud mouth was talking at the same time to let him know he didn't respect or fear him. It's just that you blacks have built in amplifers that drown everyone else out. Joe wasn't rattled, bernard was. And if he takes the fight like joe asked him about 10 times while face to face( I guess you missed that part) then he'll get his black ass burnt up.
First off, everone agrees that Jones had lost his intangibles by the time that Tarver got to him. The old-boys league does not compare to fighting a prime Roy Jones. Secondly, Calzaghe beat Chris Eubank who beat Nigel Benn twice. There.
Thanks hadn't seen that before, Hopkins is a *****, really hope the fight gets made so Calzaghe can make him eat his words.
Hopkins sounded like a teenage thug instead of a mature 42 year old boxer. I used to really like Hopkins, but bringing up the white/black **** is boring....wonder if Jeff lacy would echo the same statement.
Well, obviously you would have to make a distinction between what a fight does for a fighters leagcy in the eyes of random-joe casual boxingfans, and what it does in the eyes of people who actually know their boxing. So yeah, "beating a past prime Hopkins lifts Joe's stature", but mostly in the eyes of casual boxingfans. I can understand why Joe would want this fight, he wants his place in history, and he wants money for his retirement fund, a purpose that a fight with Hopkins would serve well. But that is not to say that it is the most meaningfull fight for Joe boxing-wise. A fight against Dawson, Woods or Pavlik would make more sense, it would prove more. But that is not JC's objective right now. Hopkins v. Jones is exactly one of those fights which is about money and legacy, but isn't really competitive. It proves nothing, because the fighters entering the ring are not the same as they once were, and they are just living of their fame. Beating Roy Jones today means nothing, he is shot, done. B-hop is a well managed HOF'er who lost twice to Taylor, who would lose massively to JC. And yeah, Eubank was past prime, but I was not the one bragging about all the famous boxers that my guy had beaten. You were asking a question, and I answered it, simple. And B-hop lost his only fight against a legitimate ATG. Calzaghe's claim to fame is unifying a division, which is a feat that cannot be denied. B-hop's claim to fame is his past, a past that is long, long gone.
I hate to say this but doesn't Old Bag Hopkins come across as a moron???? I mean the real definition of a moron.:-((
Why u think anybody would want to sit down with hopkins n here him jabber on bout how great he is and how he could of beat jones and why taylor won twice as a fluke , he wouldnt shut up saying how greta he is! i certainly wouldnt want to hve a 1 on 1 with him
Hopkins looks tense and nervouse already. his bitching wont win him the fight and it wont effect joe one single bit, i hope he knows what he's in for!! He's going to lose and lose big time to 'that white boy'!! Michael buffer is so funny on that video, what the hell is he doing!!? LEGEND! unlike Popkins, he's going to wish he'd retired whilst he could!
are you on something or just blind. The only person who looked worried was hopkins, the ***** was the one who walked off first, hope the little ***** gets battered!
