Hopkins made middleweight with such ease because he's always in shape. Between fights he never went above 166lbs. When Hopkins was looking for a superfight during the late 90's he was willing to step down to 154lbs to fight De La Hoya. That quote was after he fought Robert Allen. After Hopkins weighing in at 156lbs for the De La Hoya fight in 2004, no question he could have actually made the light-middleweight limit 4-5 years earlier. Easy.
I label this pic, "the Tardzaghe": On a serious note, Joe is going to kick Bernard's ass. Hopkins is just too old to do what he needs to do against a high volume fighter like Calzaghe.
Both look nervous. I predict double KO ala Rocky. Actually I think this fight will be **** boring. I didn't dare to invite my non-boxing fans to see it.
Hopkins looks in great shape, and yes they look gay, "no white boy will beat me.............but he can kiss me though"
Not only is Hopkins going to lose to a white boy he is going to lose to a white boy who likes pies. Anyone that judges fighter on their physique needs to start following another sport. Joe always looks like that before a fight and always has the gas for 12x3.
hopkins fills out great at 175, it's amazing how he stayed a middleweight for the majority of his career. joe is looks like he's in great condition as well.
