He was an undisputed MW king for a few years and recently dominated the admittedly overhyped but new MW king, Kelly Pavlik. He ran a close fight with Calzaghe near the end of his career too.

According to Hopkin's analysis it sounds more like Paquiao has an advantage 'being a sharpshooter' what with Hatton leaving himself so open in his last 2 fights.

 

This sort of diminishes his opinion on the fight.
