I know it was faked, as do 99.99% of other posters, because it was barely a grazing blow from Jones, and Hopkins has a reputation of acting and dirty tricks (see the Calzaghe fight).

Hopkins is simply trying to save face after receiving a chorus of boos. He is a business man.

That is why he took the Jones fight rather then the HUGE payday he was offered to come and fight here in Australia because he knew 1- Roy was the easier fight 2- It was a personal fight for him and 3- He was getting past fighting a man with so much power like Green has.

If Greens having trouble finding a LHW opponent why not try fighting a legit Cruiser for **** sake? or better still send him on up to the Heavy's he would be annhyalated.

 

Well it is hard getting a fight when you stop THE GREAT RJJ after everyone said how he was going to smack Green and then when Green shocked the world it was OH WAIT ROY IS SHOT and was not the same fighter.....

Tarver Ducked Green, Hopkins at least wanted revenge so I can understand him not fighting Green oh and Green has said if all else fails he will attack the heavyweight division....I don't like that idea but if no one else wants to face him what can the guy do.

 

Why not fight Cunningham, Huck, Flores, Alexeev, Godfrey? any legit Cruiser instead of mentioning LHW's Tarver, Hopkins and beating RJJ's shadow?

And dont tell me you actually beleive RJJ wasn't shot? they guy has been on decline ever since he stepped back down from Heavy!

If Green went up to Heavyweight he would get seriously hurt, Adamek, Haye, Klits, Povetkin, Chambers, Arreola all beat him Haye would probly murder hm literally.

Danny Green's not a bad fighter but in no way is he elite nor will he ever be, especially fighting the level of opposition he's facing

i doubt hopkins will let that happen we all said that pavlik was gonna put him to sleep and that didnt happen.

 

Hopkins said from around round 6 on he was seeing spots. So yeah he went to the hospital as well after the fight. I wonder how many people on here are going to claim he is faking it until they get his medical records.
