I'll probably get some backlash from my Philly people but look, Hopkins is a bonifide legend and ATG, that's not a argument. The man has one of the best resume's in the past 20 years. I support him to the fullest, but lets be real for one minute here...

There's absolutely no doubt he possesses a high ring IQ, but at one point age is going to set in. Reality is, reflexes and strength diminish greatly as you get older. He won't longer have enough pop to make young fighters respect him and won't have the reflexes to counter or slip punches.

By people's logic, he'll be able to fight forever because he knows how to handle himself. I'm happy he represents the city and is still schooling young cats and taking O's left and right but he won't be able to do that for the rest of his life.

I just wanna ask, does B.Hop really know when he won't be able to school people anymore? Or will he be like Roy Jones and get KO'd by Russian cheese makers?

Do you honestly believe that your resort to personal insults really marks you as intelligent?

Kovalev did not want to wait forever to get a fight with Hopkins, mandatory or not. Hopkins did not want to fight Kovalev, he would get knocked out.

Yes, when Kovalev was asked who he wanted to fight next he said Hopkins, but Hopkins would drag his feet, so Cleverly agreed to fight him in his home town, with his referee and judges.

Remember, Hopkins was beaten by Calzaghe, Dawson, Jones, etc., Kovalev would destroy him.

As much as i love Pascal, i think Kovalev (Depends on how much Pascal has improved) is actually way better than Pascal. Hopkins can win against Kovalev, but out of all LWH's out there, i probably would favor Kovalev must to beat Hopkins.

How can you rate Kovalev, who only recently scored his first meaningful win, over Pascal who gave Hopkins a 50/50 fight in their first meeting, gave Dawson his first loss and gave Froch a hell of a fight?

Im not being rude pal, but watch them fight.

One throws technically fluid punches, the other fights like a really fit street fighter.

You dont rate Kovalev at all?

you're a bit challenged there. Kovalev has superb stamina mixed with great power. I know nothing of his chin but he would kick the sh!t out of Pascal.:deal

There's still a (slight) chance Hopkins could derail Kovalev by outsmarting him since we don't know everything about Sergey yet but momentum favours Kovalev big time.

With his volume, i don't see him allowing Hopkins to counter and he continuously makes adjustment steps to keep his distance so he would be hard to grab.

    these :good

anyway , I wouldn't be surprised to see Kov wanting to fight Hopkins before he signs the contract with HBO and then we will see what Hopkins has to say about that.

    talk is cheap :yep
