Floyd's been saying that for years. Even around 2006 he was claiming he was the best ever.

Try and spin this. From 2010.

Mayweather spoke on SPORTSCENTER this week about his upcoming fight with Shane Mosley. He explained that he took the fight because Mosley is one of the best welterweights of this era, along with himself before following it up by saying "I'm one of the best fighters to ever live."

"I take my hat off to Sugar Ray Robinson and Muhammad Ali and Sugar Ray Leonard and all those legendary champions but I gave the sport of boxing my whole life to be the best and

He sounds like he is the only one who has made sacrifices to get to the top.

I dont have a problem with Floyd calling himself that.

He did in fact give his whole life to the sport of boxing.

Hopkins telling people to do their research when he was consistently wrong about Armstrong and had to be corrected is a bit rich.

I do agree with his general point, though.

Henry Armstrong achieved more in three years than Mayweather in his entire career.

    From 1937 to 1940 Armstrong's record was 55-1-0(47 KO)

And during that span he won the featherweight, the lightweight and the welterweight titles.

    Beating Hall of famers like:

    Barney Ross
    Lou Ambers
    Benny Bass
    Baby Arizmendi 2x
    Pedro Montanez
    Chalky Wright

And other great fighters of that era such as:

    Rodolfo Casanova
    Petey Sarron
    Ceferino Garcia
    Lew Feldman
    Frankie Klick
    Ernie Roderick

His only loss during that three year span was a a very controversial decision loss to Hall of famer Lou Ambers after the ref deducted five points from Armstrong for low blows and even with those point deductions he only by one round on two of the judges scorecards, it was considered an injustice by most observers of the time.

Remember this is only a three year span in Hank's career and he still accomplished much more than Mayweather, if you take Armstrong's entire career then its not even close.

Mayweather and the parrots and sheeps that repeat everything he says can say hes TBE all they want but in reality he has no claim to be TBE not even fecking close.

Bitter and jealous of what exactly?Maybe he would like to be Mayweather's age other than that i dont see why he would be jealous of Mayweather.
