IBF light heavyweight champion Tavoris Cloud wants a crack at the winner of the upcoming fight between WBC champion Bernard Hopkins and his mandatory challenger Chad Dawson. Negotiations for Hopkins-Dawson are going well and an HBO televised date could be secured by next week. Cloud is making a mandatory defense of his own, on June 25 against Yusaf Mack.:deal

Good. It will be an interesting fight. I love what Hopkins is doing by going for all the top fighters. Hops has a chance to clean them all out.

Why doesn't he earn it by beating Pascal who is 1-1-1 against BHOP and Dawson

Count one for a Dawson victory...

Hopkins vs. Dawson is the best fight at 175 right now.

Behind that for me personally in order: Dawson vs. Pascal II, Cloud vs. Shumenov, Hopkins vs. Cloud, Dawson vs. Shumenov, Hopkins vs. Cleverly, Dawson vs. Cloud, Shumenov vs. Cleverly, Hopkins vs. Pascal III

Funny, all the combinations. I really like 175, but there is a top 5-7 then a significant drop.

If Hopkins beats Dawson, he will fight Bute next. Not Cloud
