    My guess:

Hopkins tries to leap on Dawson's upper back again.

Dawson will give him a shoulder push to get him off his upper back.

Hopkins will fall down and grimace.

    ---

If there is not a repeat of the first, however, I've got my money on Dawson.

I'm never sure these days if I'm supposed to be happy or sad that Hopkins is fighting. With him it's either a great fight or a piece of **** that he quit.

seriously, I doubt it's him off that alone. ****'s weird. he's nearing the half century mark and is typing like a teenager. I doubt it's him.

why do so many people want benard hopkins to stop fighting? I see so much "he quits all the time now" bull****. when did he quit? when? you're not quitting if you cant continue from an mma move seriously injuring you in a fight. before that, when did he quit? before that he beat jean pascal twice, a guy dawson lost to and carl froch went life and death with.

the Jones Jr rematch really soured a lot of people, he was a very poor sportsman in that fight. And of course, it too was on PPV.

first of all, whoever bought that pay per view was absolutely nostalgic and nothing more. secondly, hopkins has no business fighting guys in his age group. it makes for an ugly fight, especially someone like Jones who would rather die (or hold, hit and rabbit punch) before getting beaten by B-Hop. I watched that fight, he took hellacious rabbit punches, augmented by the real grudge roy had against him in the ring. they looked like they hurt, wonder how they felt. people seem to excuse his 2X domination of Pascal.

    This.

He must really need money to fight Dawson again. I am glad for Dawson, though.

cool, other than the wobbly moments in the first fight he dominated him, and he thoroughly dominated him in the second fight.

I did worse than buy the PPV, I went to the fight. I happened to be in Vegas for a wedding the day before so I stayed an extra day and scalped a ringside ticket to the fight. Luckily tix were basically being given away.

I don't mind watching B-Hop fight anymore. The Pascal fights were entertaining. And he seems to have have slowed down/be engaging more now than he was before.

I hope that Hershman doesn't consider this to be "making a splash" at HBO. While I'm thankful it won't be PPV, I hope he didn't blow a significant part of his shrinking budget on this...

Kick ass. I actually thought the fight was very interesting until it's untimely end. Even after watching 2 rounds, I'm STILL not sure if Chad's youth will win out over Hopkins experience. My prediction remains the same, Dawson UD but I cant wait to see it!
