You can't their word for it, especially considering it was during the heat of the moment, most likely they were pissed. If you have watched boxing for the last couple years, sh!t like this happens all the time.

People are forgetting Cleverly, a unification bout infront of 70,000 at the millenium stadium would net Hopkins big $$ i'm sure he's more likely to do that fight then a rematch with someone who he's already schooled in Tarver.

Cleverly isn't ready for Hopkins or Dawson.

Dawson also said it in the post fight presser 'he'll be 47 by that time...NO' and to add to this Richard Schaefer is pissed about the disrespect Dawson has shown Hopkins and has publicly stated Dawson can't attract anything and there's no money in a rematch. (check the scene if you want to see what Schaefer said it's a fairly new article)

Im not even making the UFC argument...I think that argument is stupid because this is all a matter of appreciation. But a NC is a fair decision IMO...whether Hopkins quit or not is for fans to discuss....but when you look at it how everything unfolded and not taking into account each fighters own past (which shouldnt be considered) then a NC is the right decision IMO.

Before that comment, Schaefer agree with Shaw saying Dawson vs Hopkins wont happen anytime soon.

Do you realize that once his belts is taken away, Dawson will possibly change his mind? Promoters are always talking ****, if the WBC demands it they will fight. No way a fight should end like that.

Shaw also said "never say never", and a rematch isn't happening at "this time".

They didn't want a rematch when they thought Dawson was the champion. If I were them, I would negociate to fight Pascal and then Hopkins. If Bernard is wise, he'll retire. It is becoming a bit dangerous for him to continue.

Exactly. Both Dawson and Shaw was saying those bad things in the heat of the moment in which arcane dont even understand. Did you look at arcane gift picture of dawson grabbing pascal leg in trying to proved dawson has a history of tossing fighters to the mat?

You can't read. Houston's article did not say that Dawson deserved the win. He said that Hopkins committed a foul followed by Dawson committing a foul and that the decision should have been a ND/NC. He also said that the ref's bad call would soon be reversed to one of the above.
Take some reading comprehension classes. :yep

No change to the fight result as of yet. Rematch will never happen. Bernard got what he deserved. He's faking it (regardless of whatever "evidence" he may produce). He needs to retire before he unravels all the good will he built up recently. BTW, Goldenboy owns a stake in RING magazine, so don't put to much weight in anything they do or say regarding this matter. They're simply being used as a PR tool at this point.:good
