I think Hopkins slightly edged it, but to be fair to Pascal, I think he was the one actually landing the better shots in the exchanges despite Bernard's aggression. Funny thing is, 'nard's fans are usually the first ones to give you a lecture on how it's the cleaner, effective punches that win the fight, not wild flurries (See: Calzaghe fight)

Most of the time when the fight took place in the center of the ring, Bernard got the better of it. When he rushed in, Pascal got the better of it.

Amen, no one cought Hopkins like Pascal in the fifth round. Hopkins started the round really good with some 1-2 punches and one big left hook to the body(it hurts Pascal). It was really his round no doubt, but Pascal landed a great power left hook right to the head followed by to me the best shot of the fight, a nice uppercut who almost made Hopkins fold his knees at the last half of the round.

After those two big shots, Hopkins wasn't to willing to agress Pascal anymore. Pascal took over and controlled the last minute of the round with another nice left hook for finally finished the round with a nice flurry who cought Hopkins again. Hopkins landed 2 good body punches and 4/5 jab more than Pascal in this round but no way Hopkins had this round. No one cought him like that in years....

Maybe every round are debatable I agree, put I'll write this on my tombstone that Pascal won the fifth round!!
