What passion i felt last night, and in the aftermath. This is what boxing is about, heavy debates, and threats being thrown about. I was livid, and was livid watching the Korean Grand Prix "Formula One".

I do apologised for the things and threats i pointed towards Dftaylor. But thats boxing passion at the end of the day..........

Yes, Dawson touched Hopkins so he had the right to go down.

"The tale concerns a boxer who tricks nearby villagers into thinking he is injured. He repeats this so many times that when he is actually injured, the villagers do not believe his cries for help and his reputation is destroyed. The moral at the end of the Greek version is that 'the story shows that this is how liars are rewarded: even if they tell the truth, no one believes them."

Oh give it up, Rob, you whining little girl. No one was "winning" that fight. Dawson will be without a belt again soon enough and you can cry about the injustice of how he didn't get a TKO for pushing someone over.

What did you expect him to do, gently put Bernard down saying 'there you go old boy', whilst leaving himself open to a butt or sucker punch, from which folk would be saying 'protect yourself at all times'.

It wasn't overly forceful, yes a bit much, against the rules, but by no means overly so or extreme. Far, far, far, worse goes on in the ring, week in week out.

Remember Bernard in the Jones fight, he went on holiday after Jones tapped him on the back of the head...

Seriously, I don't care too much for either of these fighters.

At worst, the chickens finally came home to roost for Hopkins.

    8min Mark

Look how many times Hopkins is hitting Roy Jones right below the belt, going in hard with his head, and Roy Jones is just getting on with it.

Then when Roy Jones taps him on the head...? One of the best acting performances of the year.

    Under pressure aswell....

    Fantastic from Bernard Hopkins.

I have something called impingement syndrome in both my shoulders which at times causes a similar effect to the injury that Hopkins is supposed to have had (A lot of the time it is worse). And you know what I grin and bare it in the gym. Admitedly I am not competeing at the level of these guys but you can grit your teeth with this sort of thing (Danny Williams is an obvious but ludicrously exagerated example of this).

Hopkins saw things were not going to plan much like against Calzaghe, and took an easy way out where he figured he would still get paid and keep his belt!!!

Here's some more acting from Bernard Hopkins. WOW....Mills Lane must have some superhuman strength..?? he hardly touched Bernard Hopkins.

Bernard Hopkins looks for ways out, in a very witty and cleverly way. Unlike Zab Judah, Hopkins is fantastic and acting and creating mild allusions.

I'd like to see a rematch, but sadly it looks like neither of them want it.

Every fighters does numerous 'stupid' things a fight.

I really hope boxing doesn't start going down the football route where if anyone dare do something slightly out of line, the opponent jumps in the air like he's just had a grenade stuck underneath him.

How many rabbit punches do you see in a fight? Are we really advocating the opponent going down like a sack of spuds for point deductions, a DQ, every time he gets hit by one?
