I agree with Bernard, you gotta take the weapons away and Bernard would do that via clinching and slowing down the tempo with his jab but is David capable of doing that?

Yea I mean Gaydar the magnificent laid down the blueprint, but even still I think GGG won that fight and should of taken the gold. I think Ward might pull it off, but Bhops, even on his best day, Idk about that. Ggg is alot smarter than Trinidad and Tarver, I think Bhops might underestimate him like he did with Kovalev or Calzaghe.

Did anyone expect him to say otherwise?

Hopkins is too good and too crafty for GGG he would smother his power frustrate him and give him a boxing lesson. Nothing GGG has done says he beats the best version of Hopkins.

Hopkins was also supposed to school Kovalev. We know how well it worked

Watching him cut of the ring and stalk, I think it's nearly impossible for even the most gifted athlete to stay outside. I suspect tying him up, pushing/walking him back and making it an ugly/dirty fight for a while is a solid part of the answer.

Golovkin is tailor made for Hopkins to be honest. Like, by the best tailor in the world.

In my mind, a seasoned 160 lb Hopkins is the toughest styles matchup, by far, for GGG out of any middleweight over the last 25 years. He's a very tough blend of attributes and style.

Not even remotely. GiGi has not even dared to dream about being in the ring with someone like BHOP.

That's exactly what people were saying before the Kovalev fight. They ****ed all over themselves.

If Golovkin showed any sign of desire to fight Hopkins, Bernard would be more than happy. The tables have turned. GGG is the A side now.
