Agreed. Body shots always have that thing where people say 'He could have got up' as it is........ throw in somebody shouting 'Body shot, body shot, body shot, body shot, body shot, Oscaaaar, Oscar!!' and then a few seconds later he's down from a body shot and you have a moment that really makes you think....
A lot of things make you think regarding this fight. What about when Hopkins says just before the start of the round "this is the round". What do you suppose that meant? Every round was the same looking only like 2 guys sparring, neither one trying to take any sort of advantage. Two guys sparring, someone yelling body shot, body shot, Hopkins saying "this is the round", Oscar going down from that glancing blow with nothing on it, Oscars theatrics rolling around on the mat, pounding it, that fake grimmacing on his face, and TWO weeks later Hopkins is VP of GBP. Too many weird things concerning this fight. And Oscar is supposed to be cleaning up corruption in boxing and then puts on an exhibition like that one. But I'm sure the fight was legit. Someone asked the other day when he saw Oscar leaving the gym "Who was that man". and someone answered "You don't know who he is? Why he's the destroyer of corruption in boxing, the idol of all man, the one who gives all to his fans, why he's the Golden Fishnet" "The Golden Fishnet?? My God, I had no idea. Does he really walk on water like they say?" "Of course. He does it all"
I'm getting kinda tired of people saying how DLH was rolling around on the floor pounding the canvas. During the 10-count, he wasn't moving ****. He started pounding the canvas a little later, well after he'd been counted out. He had the opportunity to gain the biggest win of his career, and he was making it very close, then he lost it in a split second. Of course he was gonna pound something.
