Hopkins is the greatest fu**in champion in this time cause he fights every mothf**kin body. Hopkins is a champion with a heart...Philadelphia.

 

He has made it clear he doesn't want any part of Dawson, he's willing to fight green but not Dawson.

 

Calzaghe ran into retirement to get away from Dawson.

Throwing in combo's = old school?

Dawson's apparent unwillingness to fight young, hungry, top LHW's and his unwillingness to engage opponents in fights shows that he's the antithesis of an "old school fighter"

Put Dawson in with 1920's, 40's, 50's etc LHW's and he'd either get KO'd or stabbed with a broken beer bottle by numerous fans while leaving the ring for running all night.

Exactly. He can pick and choose his opponents at this stage. His legacy is already secure. Dawson should go fight some top contenders.

if hopkins is offered 10 million to fight green or dawson...both in america, he will take green because that is the business man in him now, meaning if the money is the same, fight the guy who is more beatable

 

Dawson isnt a draw so Hopkins wont fight him. Hopkins only fights big draws.

 

For a site where the word "ducker" is thrown around in every other post there sure are a lot of excuses going around.

 

I said it before, and I'll say it again. Hopkins will never fight Dawson. You could smear Dawson with horse**** and honey, set him on the back porch on a hot summer evening, and the man still couldn't draw flies. So, why the **** should Hopkins even consider fighting him?
