That doesnt change the fact that the present version of Hopkins isnt a very exciting fighter.

    Ah, the fearlessness of youth

At which point did he become an overly tactical, cheating, boring fighter?

i wouldn't call him a cheater but definitely grimey....but thats what fighting is.

and hopkins did what many men couldn't do.. change his style so effectively. i would say that is smart...hopkins has avoided brain damage by changin his style. is that a bad thing? depends on the fan and your definition of "great".

    You are right

Bernard Hopkins - The epitomy of pugilistic excitement

He's dubbed Bornard for a reason, mainly him being boring as ****

He is 40+ years old. What do you want him to do, throw 100 punches a round..or go for the KO on every punch like he use to? That wouldnt be an exciting fighter, that would be a DUMB fighter.

Hopkins reinvented himself to become a better boxer, as his natural abilities waned. How many others are incapable of doing this?

This is the true greatness of Bernard Hopkins if ya ask me.

    What's your point?

He's still boring as ****, which is all I said

Besides, he was fairly boring before he got old, now he's just taken it to another level

No way as boring as your repetitve posts. It never ceases to amaze me how a so called boxing fan is happy to sit there behind the safety of his keyboard making derogatory comments about one of boxings elite. Get a life you sad, Welsh *****.
