    I'm quite happy for you(or anyone else to disagree with me), but so far during this thread no one has given me the name of an elite fighter that Hopkins has beaten of his own size!! Unless Tarver counts that is!!:hey

    Sure Calzaghe didn't look brilliant last night, but as anyone who has boxed will know, it's very difficult to look good against an opponent that doesn't want to engage and who is constantly spoiling.

    PS Cortez should retire. He's no longer capable of controlling big fights. Ricky Hatton must have been having kittens watching at home on tv

    Tarver is as good any fighter on Joe's resume

    Just admit that you don't like Hopkin and move on...Stop trying to make all of these covoluted arguments on why Hopkin's resume is **** when it is equal if not better than Joe's.

    How can someone not respect Hopkins?

    The man is great at what he does.

    If I could have someone teach my kids, if I ever have them, how to box, and I could get anyone I wanted, I would get Bernard in a heart beat.

    Didn't Tarver lose to Hopkins? So clearly the above is incorrect.

    Having said that, the argument isn't about Joe's resume anyway

    Antwon Echols? Antonio Tarver? Glen Johnson? Those arent bigger fighters then Nard? wow what blatant stupidity. The man was 43 years old and knocked a guy 8 years younger on his ass in the first minute of the fight. From then on it didnt matter what Calzaghe did lol. Slapping and **** are you serious? :yep

    Reg you are pretty much just feeding a troll. This has been done a million times and I am sick of it, I am not a great Hopkins fan.
