But those people saying those things...."Cmon, Hopkins is 43 years old." etc. Because they are stating such, it doesnt relegate them to being Hopkins fans.

I will tell you with 100% confidence that if Joe wins Sat. there will be MANY, MANY people calling out that Bernard was 43 and past it. But none of them will be true Hopkins fans. Its the same if Bernard wins, there will be literally TONS of people on here claiming Joe was overrated, protected, etc....some might even point out that LHW wasnt his natural weight...some might even call him old and past it. But I will not for one second think that those people are the majority of Calzaghe fans....because the fact is, they are not. They are either going to be delighted Calzaghe haters or Bernard haters looking to make yet another attempt to discredit Hopkins resume (same thing with a Joe win on Sat...).

Trust me. The Hopkins fans hate the people who use his age in a negative manner.

I think a lot of people who are talking up Hopkins' chances in this one will realise after the very first round that the gulf in ability is very large and that Hopkins has very little chance indeed of pulling it off. That's no slight against Hopkins who even at 43 is still a great fighter, it's just that Calzaghe really is that good.
