Hopkins fans get over it. He lost to Taylor twice

No one got robbed in the Hopkins fights. They were very close decisions and Taylor earned his victories. This revisionist nonsense about Hopkins getting screwed is a load of crap.
Oh, and of course, don't forget the dreaded HBO conspiracy theory!!! God help us all!!!

Bernard rolled the dice in the first fight and thought he could take the first half of the fight off and stop a tired Taylor late in the bout. It almost worked, but almost doesn't guarantee a win.
Jermain won fair and square and all the whining and bitching in the world isn't going to change that.

It's typical distorted logic from some fans, though. If the judges don't score a fight exactly the way they do, then they scream robbery.

Someone said that Pac wasnt an ATG, I said that I think he already was. Then I said that HOpkins could be considered TOP 10 ATG (maybe with big letters and numbers people will read and understand) possibly if he beats Winky, Calzaghe, then Mormeck.

i had the first Taylor - Hopkins 1 point in favour of Hopkins and the second a draw i think, So i'm not gonna parade around rambling on about how he got robbed, But there will always be speculation about those decisions..

Really, those 2 fights were back-to-back DRAWS, when you look at them..

 

This is a legitimate argument. But if one were to say they thought Hopkins should have been awarded a draw to salvage his belts, certainly that would not leave room for crying when Taylor gets a razor thin decision. Add that Hopkins gets a re-match to settle any complaints and clearly loses, and those who continue to viciously criticize Taylor begin to look like serious idiots indeed.
