This is quite perplexing. Do you save your score cards? I'd be interested to see how you scored the second fight, b/c it seems by far the better fight for Taylor. Bhop looked in control at the end of the first fight, he looked frustrated and almost giving up at the end of the second. I had always thought Taylor-haters were just sore about the first fight b/c Taylor finished so poorly at the end. And I can't recall any media source anywhere giving the second fight to Bernard, they were all for Taylor, and with the same scores as all three judges. (115-113 for Taylor)

Did you really think no one would notice when you responded to quintonJacksonfan's well substantiated argument with a simple one-line idiot response like this that contains NO argument? I'm just letting you know that people do notice cop-outs like this, just in case you're daft enough to think otherwise.

Nice to meet someone who values reality. :hi:

Just to contrast your own honesty and integrity with the (lack of) integrity of these idiot-Taylor haters: These liars are WELL-AWARE that Taylor won the second fight, it's just too obvious not to realize. However they are biased and dishonest enough with themselves and everyone else that they are able to claim "Hopkins won the second fight!" even though they themselves don't even believe it! Truth isn't something that matters to these clowns. They are interested only in propagandizing for and against the things they like and dislike, respectively.

Are you just joking around because you're a hopkins cheerleader, or are you for some strange reason making comments on a fight you haven't watched?

There's alot of fight fans that cant bare to admit that a younger, faster, and stronger cat like Jermaine Taylor could beat two of the more technically skilled fighters in recent years.......

Being the better technically skilled fighter is'nt going to get it done every time out.
Sometimes other factors like speed, strenghth, power, youth and hunger come into full play as happened in Jermaine Taylor's fights with both Hopkins and Wright.

Imo, Jermaine Taylor won each of those fights comfortably enough!

Old ******* has a case for a draw in the first bout.

    He lost the second.

Now Snaggle tooth is an all time great but sack swingers have to accept he lost these fights.

I'm a Hopkins and Taylor fan, this is how I scored both fights. First fight a draw and second clearly to Taylor, first fight could've gone either way.

imo the first fight was closer than that, one point that could have gone either way.

i am pretty sure i had taylor getting a close narrow win both fights, and drawing with winky, i guess thats why i never understood the whole robbery cries about these.

even IF hopkins DID win a close fight, he still did not show that he could dominate taylor over 24 rounds...

you guys do realise.... this is BERNARD HOPKINS, and the fact that taylor can even fight on his level, and again with winky, DOES show that he is ON that level.

I had Taylor winning both fights based on activity alone.

Hopkins didnt start to fight in BOTH fights till about the 8th-9th round.

I was dead surprised that Hopkins would do the exact same thing twice.I was certain he wasnt going to just not do nothing for the first 8 rounds AGAIN.

Bingo. And without the influence of HBO, he would have lost all three of those decisions on the cards.

It PAYS to be an HBO hype job - it's the GIFT that keeps on giving.....:yep

i had Taylor winning the first. Hopkins was still the better fighter, and really won his rounds convincingly and beat up on Taylor at the end of the fight, but the style of judging being what it is i had to give Taylor the edge 115-113..

Ideally judges would score close rounds even but they don't so it is what it is...

I would still favour Hopkins in a rematch, and hope that he picks up the pace earlier.
