    What disappointment???

He lost a close fight to one of the best fighters in the world. I said before it...whoever wins gets an amazing amount of credit and whoever lost gets an amazing amount of credit.

What goes through some of your minds...???

Giving credit where due. No excuses. Crow well deserved, but I challenge any Calzaghe fan to challenge my honesty and admittedly being so wrong.

    :smoke

    And yes, I am legless.

Calzaghe beat Hopkins who stopped Tarver, who stopped Roid Jones, pretty good.

    You da man dude!
Like me, you always said if we were wrong in our assesments, Calz deserved major props.

Hops is STILL world class. That makes Joe more impressive.

    :good

Your boxing opinions are stellar regardless. No serious fan will ever discredit you (though, I am afraid, I cannot say the same for myself).

    :cheers

It was a good fight in my opinion. I would have liked Bernard to have skipped the "the fans knew who really won" speech at the end and bowed out gracefully. I thought he was going to because he had a smile on his face for a minute after the discision was anounced like he was enjoying Calzaghe's jubilation.

All I saw was a guy landing the harder shots and doing damage, with the other fighting like an amateur and throwing lots of punches, which were generally ineffective and did little to no damage. That same guy got planted on his ass and was stunned a few times throughout the fight. He lost a close fight in my eyes to a 43 year old Vet, but got the decision.
